Additional Information and Use

Apply the gel day and night on your face after shaving or after cleansing. For an additional skin-care you can continur with applying the after-shave balm of ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND, Anti-Ageing Revitalizing Cream.

Properties:
Αqua (water): ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND’s own deep spring water comes from 166 meters below ground. It is characterized by its high level of purity and impeccable microbiological quality.

Alcohol: Pure (undenatured) potable alcohol, derived from the fermentation of plants containing starch or sugar, is used as a solvent for extracts and active substances. It also has refreshing, vascular toning and preserving effects.

Glycerin: Glycerin, derived from vegetable oil, has a moisturizing effect.

Polyglyceryl-5 laurate: This emulsifier, derived from plant substances, binds water with oil.

Sodium lactate: This lactic acid salt, derived through fermentation from plants, has a moisturizing effect. It occurs in human skin as a natural moisturizing factor (NMF).

Carrageenan powder (Chondrus crispus): Carrageenan, obtained from red algae, is used as a natural gelling agent. It also has a moisturizing effect.

Xanthan gum: Xanthan gum is obtained through fermentation from a plant substrate and is used as a natural gelling agent.

Baobab tree leaf extract (Adansonia digitata): The extract obtained from the leaves of the baobab tree has antioxidant properties, increases the skin’s elasticity and protects against premature skin aging.

Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate: This stable form of vitamin C protect against free radicals and thus against premature skin aging.

Aroma (fragance): Aroma is the collective term for fragrances such as plant distillates, mixtures of essential oils and perfume compounds.

Aloe leaf juice (Aloe barbadensis): Organic aloe vera is a traditional natural remedy. The extract has anti-inflammatory, moisturizing and soothing properties. In powdered form, aloe vera can be used in high concentrations and without preservatives.

Celandine extract (Ranunculus ficaria): Celandine extract tones blood vessels, soothes and counters skin redness.

Allantoin: Allantoin occurs naturally in comfrey, black salsify and horse chestnuts. It relieves irritation and has a regenerating effect.

Witch hazel leaf extract (Hamamelis virginiana): Organic witch-hazel leaf extract is a traditional natural remedy. It has an anti-inflammatory effect and refines pores.

Ginko leaf extract (Gingko biloba): The extract obtained from the leaves of the ginkgo tree, protects against free radicals and thus against premature skin aging.

Brown algae extract Fucus serratus: Brown algae extract protects and nourishes the skin.

Sodium benzoate: This benzoic acid salt is a nature-identical preservative.

Potassium sorbate: Potassium sorbate is a nature-identical preservative. It occurs naturally in unripe rowan berries.

Limonene: Fragrance contained in perfume mixtures. To be listed separately in the list of ingredients in accordance with the EU Regulation on Cosmetic Products.

Lactic acid: Lactic acid, derived from plants through fermentation, has a moisturizing effect. It is also an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid).

Agarikon fungus extract (Fomes officinalis): Agarikon extract has smoothing and firming effects and refines pores.

Linalool: Fragrance contained in perfume mixtures. To be listed separately in the list of ingredients in accordance with the EU Regulation on Cosmetic Products.

Benzyl benzoate: Fragrance contained in perfume mixtures. To be listed separately in the list of ingredients in accordance with the EU Regulation on Cosmetic Products.

Hexyl cinnamal: Fragrance contained in perfume mixtures. To be listed separately in the list of ingredients in accordance with the EU Regulation on Cosmetic Products.

Coumarin: Fragrance contained in perfume mixtures. To be listed separately in the list of ingredients in accordance with the EU Regulation on Cosmetic Products.

Citronellol: Fragrance contained in perfume mixtures. To be listed separately in the list of ingredients in accordance with the EU Regulation on Cosmetic Products.
