Additional Information and Use

Apply to your skin day and night after shaving or cleansing. For a more thorough care of your skin, use it in combination with the Lifting Αfter-Shave Gel or the Refressing After-Shave Cream of ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND.

Properties:
Αqua (water): ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND’s own deep spring water comes from 166 meters below ground. It is characterized by its high level of purity and impeccable microbiological quality.

Macadamia ternifolia seed oil: Macadamia nut oil offers very good skin protection and makes dry, flaky skin supple again.

Coco-caprylate/caprate: This vegetable oil component is absorbed well by the skin and leaves no oily film.

Simmondsia chinensis seed oil (jojoba): The liquid wax obtained from the seed of the jojoba shrub has smoothing, nurturing and protective effects. It is absorbed well without being greasy and has UV-absorbing properties.

Sorbitan stearate: These (co-)emulsifiers, derived from plant substances, bind water with oil.

Butyrospermum parkii butter (shea): This organic shea butter is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and vitamins. Shea butter offers very good skin protection and makes dry, flaky skin supple again.

Glyceryl stearate: This emulsifier, derived from plant substances, binds water with oil.

Sorbitol: Sorbitol, derived from plant starch, has a moisturizing effect and is also used as a base for powdered active substances from plants.

Phenoxyethanol: Phenoxyethanol is a nature-identical preservative. It occurs naturally in green tea and chicory.

Behenyl alcohol: Behenyl alcohol, obtained from moringa tree seeds, is a lipid component (fatty alcohol). It nourishes the skin and enhances the consistency of emulsions.

Cholesteryl hydroxystearate: The structure of this emulsifier is very similar to the structure of skin. It binds strongly to water and forms a protective film on the skin.

Potassium cetyl phosphate: This emulsifier, derived from plant substances, binds water with oil.

Benzyl alcohol: Fragrance contained in perfume mixtures. To be listed separately in the list of ingredients in accordance with the EU Regulation on Cosmetic Products. Benzyl alcohol is also used as a preservative.

Chondrus crispus powder (carrageenan): Carrageenan, obtained from red algae, is used as a natural gelling agent. It also has a moisturizing effect.

Stearic acid: This fatty acid, derived from various vegetable oils, is used as a consistency enhancer in emulsions. It also nourishes the skin and has a smoothing effect.

Palmitic acid: This fatty acid, derived from various vegetable oils, is used as a consistency enhancer in emulsions. It also nourishes the skin and has a smoothing effect.

Allantoin: Allantoin occurs naturally in comfrey, black salsify and horse chestnuts. It relieves irritation and has a regenerating effect.

Tocopheryl acetate: Provitamin E, derived from vegetable oils, is an antioxidant and therefore protects against free radicals and thus against premature aging. It also prevents skin damage caused by UV rays.

Aloe leaf juice (Aloe barbadensis): Organic aloe vera is a traditional natural remedy. The extract has anti-inflammatory, moisturizing and soothing properties. In powdered form, aloe vera can be used in high concentrations and without preservatives.

Stearyl glycyrrhetinate: This active substance, derived from licorice root, nourishes sensitive skin, strengthens and relieves irritation.

Aroma (fragance): Aroma is the collective term for fragrances such as plant distillates, mixtures of essential oils and perfume compounds.

Sucrose cocoate: These stabilizers and (co-)emulsifiers, derived from plant substances, bind water with oil.

Ethylhexylglycerin: This vegetable substance has nourishing, antimicrobial and deodorizing properties.

Ceramide NP: These ceramides, sustainably obtained from yeast using biotechnology, have the same structure as the ceramides in skin and hair. They therefore strengthen the skin’s protective barrier and hair structure and protect against moisture loss.

Glycine soja oil (wild soybean): The oil obtained from soybeans contains vitamins and unsaturated fatty acids. It offers good skin protection and makes dry, flaky skin supple again.

Sodium hyaluronate: Vegan hyaluronic acid, sustainably obtained using biotechnology, has a very high water-binding capacity. It has moisturizing and smoothing effects.

Ginko leaf extract (Gingko biloba): The extract obtained from the leaves of the ginkgo tree, protects against free radicals and thus against premature skin aging.

Panthenol: This provitamin improves the skin’s elasticity and accelerates cell regeneration. It has moisturizing and regenerating effects.

Brown algae extract Fucus serratus: Brown algae extract protects and nourishes the skin.

Limonene: Fragrance contained in perfume mixtures. To be listed separately in the list of ingredients in accordance with the EU Regulation on Cosmetic Products.

Ubiquinone (coenzyme Q10): Coenzyme Q10, derived through yeast fermentation, protects against free radicals and thus against premature aging.

Linalool: Fragrance contained in perfume mixtures. To be listed separately in the list of ingredients in accordance with the EU Regulation on Cosmetic Products.

Ascorbyl palmitate: Fat-soluble forms of vitamin C protect against free radicals and thus against premature skin aging.

Lecithin: Lecithin, obtained from soy or sunflowers, has a nourishing effect and stabilizes emulsions.
