Additional Information and Use

The beeswax ointment is applied on the hands, even when they are “cracked” or “chapped”. It drastically reduces the dryness of the skin and restores its elasticity and health. Beeswax ointments – unlike common moisturizing creams, require a minimum amount in order to release their beneficial properties.

Apply a very small amount locally on your hands and spread it with gentle circular movements until it is evenly absorbed. The results will amaze you.

Products which contain beeswax should be avoided by people with identified allergies to bee products (honey, royal jelly, pollen etc.).

Properties:

Natural beeswax: Natural beeswax creates a protective film on the skin which effectively protects it against external contaminants – however at the same time allowing it to “breathe.” It has antibacterial and anti- inflammatory properties while it enhancing hydration by “keeping” the natural moisture trapped inside the skin.

Almond oil (Prunus amygdalus dulci): Is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, D, E and proteins. It nourishes the skin while effectively combats skin irritations. It is suitable for all skin types and especially for dry and sensitive skin.

Avocado oil (Persea americana): Acts as a protective and anaplastic agent for dry and very dehydrated skin.

Jojoba oil (Buxus chinensis): Mimics the natural collagen of the skin and offers deep miniaturization.

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) essential oil is used to treat burns and infections.

Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans) essential oil is used in aromatherapy for the warming and relieving of muscles while improves blood circulation locally.

Basil (Ocimum basilicum) essential oil relieves muscle pain and rheumatism pains.

Hyssop extract (Hyssopus officinalis) which is used for wound treatment and prevents the spread of contamination and inflammation.

Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii): All Bee Factor beeswax ointments contain pure shea butter the use of which increases skin elasticity and due to its strong antioxidant action it reinforces the defense of the skin against external conditions such as pollution and sunlight. Shea butter is particularly rich in phenolic substances (phenolic compounds). From the 10 phenolic substances that are found in shea butter the 7 are catechins which can also be found in green tea. Catechins in addition to strengthening and revitalizing offering is also extremely anti-aging, and fight free radicals. Shea butter is rich in vitamins E and A, known for their anti-aging action.
