It should be noted following the doctors’ guideline, that a cotton swab when not used properly it can promote the earwax further deep into the ear, many times even upon the ear drum, resulting to a worse clogging of the ear canal.
The only correct use of the cotton swab is superficially upon the ear as well as within the external ear sulcuses and along the perimeter of the entrance of the ear canal.
After each bath, it is recommended to dry-out our ears with a towel or napkin or even the hair dryer, until the water left on the external ear is evaporized.
